McSpadden/JRS - Custom Hourglass 4-String Mountain Dulcimer #65320

This is a stunning. and unusual, "Spring Green" dye Quilted Maple top McSpadden Hourglass Mountain Dulcimer.  It plays "like butter" with a solid Ebony Fretboard.  The back is American Black Walnut bookmatched with inc.  The Body, Sides, Headstock and Tailpiece are also Black Walnut.  The VSL is 28 3/8" with typical meticulous McSpadden intonation.  It has both 6 1/2 and 12 1/2 frets with Mother of Pearl inlay dots on the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 10th, 12th, 14th and 17th frets.  The "machines" are custom Black Gotoh 360 Gear Tuners.  It has "black" strap buttons too.  The bridge and nut are cut to accept 3 String, Double Melody or 4 String "equadistance" playing preference.  This instrument weighes in at 2 lbs. 6 oz.  This Custom  McSpadden/JRS collectors piece comes with a "backpack" style Cordura Nylor Padded Case, Instruction Book, Pick, Noter and Leather hanging "strap."  This is "one of a kind" Mountain Dulcimer that you and your family will be privileged and proud to own for generations to come!
