  • 4 String Domra with hard case

The 4 String Domra is a long-necked lutelike instrument that first appeared during the Middle Ages in Kazakhstan, Uzbekestan and Bashkiria. The Kazahk dombra has frets, whereas Uzbeki and Bashkir  dombras  hav no frets.    The Kazahk dombra is normally tuned to the Prima, a G - D - A - E.  The instrument is played by strumming and plucking, with an occasional tap with the thumb on the body.  Kazakhistan initiated a Dombra Day in 2018, and is celebrated annually the first Sunday in July.  A hard case is included.
