Continuing ...

This most important thread of thought for those anxious about Corona-virus, the Stock Market, the Presidential race, Weather, War, etc! And I'm aware of how several "friends" who dismiss the whole predestination "thing" will be offended by these words of truth ... but ... I pray ... don't take offense but, rather, perform your own exegesis and pray, yourselves, for clarity on the subject.

Quote ... "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the first-born among many brethren; and whom He predestined, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified." (NAS, Romans 8:28-30)

*Note: Verse 30, in particular, is clearly in the past tense.

So here's my prayer for "unbelievers", in particular, of this text ... please take it upon yourself to ... dig ... deeper ... than your simple minded friends. Considering what Jesus took upon Himself FOR YOU ... it seems to me ... the least you could do. How could it possibly harm you to merely consider something outside your circle?

This Scripture text is SO comforting and, for me, it's deeply humbling! I am very thankful that years ago, one of my former pastors taught all of Romans extensively! Romans 8 is especially profound! There are some really good sermons on Romans by John MacArthur on YouTube.
