Dulcimations IX

This is a NEW book by Marya Katz, longtime player and teacher out of VA.  Marya was one of the featured instructors at our Hammered Dulcimer Academy 2018, and she just released this brand new book for beginners.  In it, Marya focuses on "building a house of basics" by getting familiar with music theory and harmony as it pertains to the hammered dulcimer.  This book is a great option for those who want musical building blocks before moving onto complete songs.  Sections of this book include scales (of all sorts), keys and modes, chords and harmonization.  Marya provides some short musical tidbits as you work on specific skills, but does not have complete songs.
