Dirt Simple Mountain Dulcimer

This book is a great way for beginners to get started on the mountain dulcimer.  Written by Madeline Macneil, the book begins with the basics of tuning, strumming and finding notes on the dulcimer.  Tunes include "Boil That Cabbage Down," "Old Joe Clark" and many other favorites.  Online audio is available for each track, including count-ins and played at moderate tempos.
 
Mostly arranged for DAA tuning, with a few songs written for both DAA and DAD to compare.
