This is a 2 octave bowed psaltery with a Curly Maple soundboard with Walnut accents. The back is Mahogany and the rails are Cherry, and the pinblock is formed from Rock Maple. It is a left-handed bowed psaltery, meaning the notes are flipped from right-to-left from the standard to make it easier to play with the left hand as dominant. This instrument ranges from G (above middle C) up to G (two octaves above middle C.) This bowed psaltery comes complete with an adjustable horsehair bow, tuning wrench, bow rosin, tuning chart, extra wire and an instruction and care booklet.
