What an absolutely delightful day it has been so far. Light rain, practicing in my studio and reading Ecclesiastes! Some might say ... well ... isn't that book a little gloomy? I guess that would depend on your perspective. To me ... the truth written there ... helps me focus on the beauty of the moment coupled with the hope of our future in Christ. Now I haven't played my Hammered Dulcimer (except to demonstrate) for 10 years. I believe the adversity I spoke of yesterday is opening my heart to ... play again. There is definitely "Life" in music. I never really expected to find joy again in playing the Hammered Dulcimer. But ... God is good ... and I think the rain and Scripture help!!!
