Old "Good News" Page 19

November 30, 2017 Last one tonight.  Are those Rickenbachers (sp?)  That sax guy is still around.  Too cool.

By the way ... it's so sad Glen is ... home ... I mean for "us."  We'll be together soon.

November 30, 2017 Ok ... you have to see this.  WE CAN LEARN SOMETHING.  Get over it is one of my all-time favorites.  Just fyi ... "Hell freezes over" is my favorite all-time Eagles album ... yep ... even above Hotel California.  This is a alot of backstage exposure.  Anyway ... I love Don Felder's smooth honesty ... and Joe and Timothy of course.

December 1, 2017 This one's fun:

December 1, 2017 Another:  ttps://

Hard to believe so many of them have "passed."

December 1, 2017 When I visited with Chet ... back in the day ... he said anything else I can do?  That took me a little by surprise ... but I thought for a second and said "yes."  He said ... "what?"  I said I'd love to meet Norbert Putnam (sp?).  Chet said ... "ok" and reached for the phone.  So ... back in the day ... before I became ... you know, old ... I was a romantic.  This guy was totally one of my favorites and Norbert played cello and produced this guy.  Anyway ... hope you like it:

Oh ... in about an hour I was sitting with Norbert at "The Bennett House" in Franklin.  I guess it's true ... it's not necessarily what you know ... it can be ... who you know.  winking emogi

December 1, 2017 One more then back to decorating:

December 1, 2017 I saw these guys first in 1968.  I think that's why ... my mind ... is ... well ... that's another story.  Anyway Martin was the most amazing guitar player I'd seen until that point.  I hope you can imagine ... next to me ... that night ... :

December 1, 2017 My favorite drummer is Carter Beauford ... but I bet he was impressed with Ian's drummer.  Hint:  last video 31 minutes in ... give or take.

December 3, 2017 Wonderful Concert last night with Rita, Paul and Judy.  Good food, GREAT friends .... Christmas Spirit getting off to a pretty good start.  Small fire in the fireplace.  Listening to "Holy Ground" by my friend David Wilcox.  He's been sending me new songs lately.  Really fun!  Kinda like the "old days" but we've both grown a little since then.  This new one reminds me of one by another old friend ... Peter Mayer.  My walk this night was just glorious.  'Bout ready to go grab some breakfast unless and Keith and Gael get up in time so we can all go out together.  Reminiscing now with Rubber Soul ...

December 6, 2017 Good Morning!  I'm up a little early beginning to button things down for the Winter.  Got some clean-up to do in Perelandra ... a little business to attend to in the Workshop ... and maybe a little guitar practice (I hope!).  I ran across this while attending to some Office work.  I have definitely posted this before ... but it always gives me "chills."  I hope it affects YOU the same:

Back in nostalgia mode ...

So this is, I suppose, one of my many "issues." I ... listen ... and ... it moves me. I remember this album way back "in the day." I found this live take he just did fairly recently I guess. And s
