Longing for Autumn already???

What a fabulous walk up the mountain this AM. Wind chill in high 20's ... fleeting moments of very, very light freezing rain. Wearing shorts ... but more up top! According to my pedometer ... I took 10,531 steps, 4.82 miles, 561.5 calories. I just love all this technology ... when it works! I actually felt a longing for next fall, that first whiff of wood smoke from someone's home, the clearing of summer's humidity ... and the glory of upcoming holidays and another new year. Boy ... I'm one wacky dude!
