I am sooooo Grateful ...

I am grateful I was born in America, I'm grateful my Dad let me get a paper route when I was 13, I'm grateful I got up every day at 5:00 AM in the dark rain or snow, windy or not, for 3 years and finished my route in NE Ohio before breakfast and school every day, I'm grateful my Dad helped me only once after a particularly nasty ice and snow storm one winter (on a Sunday), I'm grateful my Dad let me buy a Moped with my route money from Sears when I was 14, Oh ... and I'm grateful my Mom let him ... let me do that, I'm grateful that I saw a Hammered Dulcimer in 1974 (2 years after I moved to North Carolina), I'm grateful that I built my 1st one a year later in my dormitory, I'm grateful that I didn't sign with Warner Brothers or Windham Hill a year after my first record came out, I'm thankful that I produced it myself, started my own Record Label and have sold it for the last 39 years with no corporate distribution, I'm thankful that my job is only about 20 steps from my front door, I'm thankful for my former wife Lisa and I pray whenever I think of her that she is happy ... now, I'm thankful that I have known ... and know ... LOVE, I'm grateful for MUSIC for it is the language I appreciate the most, I am so grateful for my friends (the ones close ... and those further away), I'm grateful that we will all dance to the music someday, I'm lastly thankful for Bears, the Forest, Pizza, Ice Cream and pajamas! I guess I could go on but gratefully I'm heading down to the house now. I love you ... ALL.
