This is a wonderful Baritone Mountain Dulcimer made back in 1998 by luthier John Stockard.  It has a beautiful rich, deep tone and be strung as either a 3 or 4 string!  The body and headstock are Black Walnut.  So is the fretboard but it has an inlayed Rosewood overlay.  The top is expertly Quarter-Sawn Redwood.  It has a figured maple inlayed strip down the cent of it's bookmatched back.  It also has an internal pickup and a very nice Cool Hollow case!  If you've been looking for a deeper sound for your dulcimer collection this would make an excellent addition!
