Sad news for so many … I know … but I am closing Perelandra to the general public for an indefinite period of time. My original intention for the space was for it to be a private music space for my former wife and I. A place we could practice, compose and play music … for ourselves of course … but maybe also with some friends on occasion. During the construction process I had the vision to make it more than just that. It has been an honor, a privilege and a delight to host over 150 musical happenings with such amazing, world class talent … for such an intimate gathering of friends and neighbors. Those nights have been the very best nights for me over the last 10 years. I've been so encouraged by the laughter, the humility and the generosity expressed by this growing family of friends that it makes this decision a very difficult one to make. There is always the possibility that Perelandra might re-open for my friends and neighbors but I have a lot of work to do to make that a reality. I will be improving the space constantly in the meantime regardless. If you are my friend … I encourage you to come visit anytime as long as I'm home. Please get in touch first so we can set a time. I look forward to seeing you … again!
