Here's a brand new Grande Concertmaster (#901) I just delivered fresh out of my workshop and studio to my Showroom on Saturday. I'm sorry but this instrument was purchased on 11/28/08! I'm going to leave the pictures up until I post a new one ... whenever that might be! In the meantime this one is a 5 Octave Chromatic (2/19/21/12). It has Purpleheart laminated rails, a Sitka Spruce soundboard and East Indian Rosewood bridges. The soundboard is stained to compliment the rails. More pictures below.
Pictured here on one of my custom stands with the cable drive linear bearing damper system installed.
A shot from underneath. I don't think I've ever show this angle before! You can see the double-spline finger joint frame construction, the tulip poplar back and purpleheart top rail.
A couple of close ups of the lower left and upper right sections of the instrument.
Upper left corner and foot pedal. This instrument is a truly one of a kind handcrafted professional performance and recording quality hammer dulcimer. It came complete with a cordura nylon padded Song of the Wood carrying case, damper case and custom stand.
