Here's what one of my current Grande Concertmasters looks like.  This instrument is a 5 Octave Chromatic Hammer Dulcimer (2/19/21/12).  It has Purpleheart laminated rails, a Sitka Spruce soundboard and East Indian Rosewood bridges.  The soundboard is stained to compliment the rails.  More pictures below.
